About Greg

who am i?

I am a lifetime resident of Magnolia, a neighborhood that is almost an island, adjacent to the Government Locks and west of Queen Anne Hill. I attended Magnolia Elementary School, Catherine Blaine Jr High School, and Queen Anne High School; less than a year after graduating from Queen Anne, I was training in the Army to go to Vietnam.

After returning from Vietnam, I attended the University of Washington and received a BA in Business. I am a board member of the Magnolia Historical Society, which has published three coffee table books on the history of Magnolia. In the most recent Book, Mid-century Memories, I was the author of two of its chapters: Growing up in Magnolia and my experience in Vietnam in 1968.

My three passions are Gardening, Photography, and working as a Magnolia Real Estate Broker.
